**SV Ried** is an Austrian football club based in the town of Ried im Innkreis, Upper Austria. The club currently plays in the Austrian Football Second League, the second tier of Austrian football.

**History**

SV Ried was founded in 1912 as SV Union Ried. The club played in the lower leagues of Austrian football until 1995, when they were promoted to the Austrian Bundesliga for the first time. Ried spent 17 seasons in the Bundesliga, with their best finish being third place in the 2005-06 season. The club also won the Austrian Cup in 1998 and 2011.

**Stadium**

SV Ried plays their home matches at the Josko Arena, which has a capacity of 7,689. The stadium was opened in 2003 and is one of the most modern stadiums in Austria.
