Chilangos F.C. is a football club that plays in the Liga Premier – Serie B. It is based in Benito Juárez, Mexico City, Mexico.

History

The team was founded in 2018 as part of a social integration program of the Benito Juárez City Council, one of the municipalities of Mexico City, since its first season the club was registered in the Liga TDP.

Since its foundation, the team has always qualified for the promotion play-off round of the Liga TDP, having its best performance in the 2020–21 season when they reached the quarterfinal round.

On June 30, 2023, the team entered the Liga Premier – Serie B through an expansion franchise to increase the number of teams participating in that league. After the league change, the team was relocated to Estadio Jesús Martínez "Palillo", although, the team tried to play at the Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes located in its original district, the request was rejected so it had to move to that stadium located in another area of the city.

Klub piłkarski Chilangos FC z Meksyku jest stosunkowo nowym zespołem, założonym w 2013 roku. Mimo krótkiego stażu klub szybko zyskał popularność wśród kibiców w stolicy Meksyku, mieście Meksyk. Chilangos FC jest znany ze swojego atrakcyjnego stylu gry, który opiera się na szybkim podaniu piłki i ofensywnej grze. Drużyna występuje w Liga Premier de Mexico, drugiej lidze w meksykańskim systemie ligowym.

Pomimo swojego krótkiego istnienia, Chilangos FC osiągnął już pewne sukcesy. W 2015 roku klub wygrał Puchar Meksyku, pokonując w finale Club América. Chilangos FC uczestniczyli także w rozgrywkach międzynarodowych, biorąc udział w Lidze Mistrzów CONCACAF w 2016 roku.

Najbardziej znanym zawodnikiem Chilangos FC jest napastnik Javier Hernández, który grał w reprezentacji Meksyku na Mistrzostwach Świata FIFA w 2010 i 2014 roku. Innymi czołowymi graczami drużyny są pomocnik Giovani dos Santos i obrońca Héctor Moreno.

Chilangos FC jest popularną drużyną wśród kibiców w mieście Meksyk i ma potencjał, aby stać się jedną z czołowych drużyn w Meksyku.
